In Christmas of  2011, Wunderman Athens advertising company came up with another idea for a Nokia Facebook contest, through Nokia fan page in Facebook. This time the prize, was a cell phone of user's choice between Ν700 and Ν701.

Due to Christmas time, Santa was the figure chosen for the contest.  The desing and development of the facebook application for the contest was, once again, assigned to intros.gr, who develped a flash application.  Users had to accept the terms and conditions of the contest. Then, they had to choose the image of the cell phone they desire, drag it and drop it in the Santa's sack. If the sack opened then the user would win the cell phone he chose, if not the user was free to retry again and again.

Just before the check of Santa's sack, the application was sending a message from "NokiaSanta" to the user, asking him to invite his friends to participate in the contest, and share the message through his facebook page.  

It is quite understandable, that facebook applications, give Fan Pages a greater publicity and more rapid share-ability, increasing the target group of potential customers and potential sales. 

Even if this application was developed for a known brand as Nokia, in intros.gr, we believe that neither the design and development nor the cost of such Facebook Applications, should be an obstacle in any company's growth.

In 2011, Nokia implemented a promotional campaign by the name "Φοιτη-tips" (student-tips), through the Facebook fan page. The idea was proposed by Wunderman Athens advertising company, and the design and development was assigned to intros.gr.

The idea was to promote Nokia cell phones to university students. 

The contest was conducted in collaboration with Germanos Company, and it was splited in two parts. 

In the first part of the Facebook contest under the name "Φοιτη-tips", that we created, users were asked to post a usefull information regarding the university in the Nokia Fan Page. For example: "What school orginises the best parties?" or "How to cope with the administration's office?". 

Every user was provided with a numerical code, for every tip they posted. They had to cross check through the website, if the code is winning one.   

The next part of the contest, was about the invitation of the users to vote for the best tip. So, every user had to invite his friend to vote for the best tip.  The user who posted the best tip was the great winner.

Facebook contest or campaigns splited in parts, especially if any individual part gives the chance of winning, increase the traffic in company's Fan page as well as the share-ability. The complexity of such facebook applications should not be obstacle for the companies.  The target group of potential customers is increasing and potential sales as well.

In 2012, Wunderman Athens advetising company came up with a new promotional idea for Nokia and the new C7 cell phone. A facebook application through the fan page of Nokia. The design and development of the idea were assigned, once again, to intros.gr.

The application urged users to "Get in the biggest greek Heart, in order to win 3 Nokia C7 cell phonew and special invitations for Nitro's party". 

The only thing that you had to do, was to click on the heart and your facebook profile photo should appear in the heart among others. Then you had to share with your friends the image of the heart containing your photo, and invite them to participate in the contest as well.  Finally you had to post a message informing your friends and contact that you have participated in the Nokia contest.

Facebook promotional campaigns and contests, like this one, provide the company's Fan Page great publicity and rapid share-ability. These two factors can bring more potential customers and therefore increased sales, for the said company.

In 2010,  NOKIA wanted to launch the new Nokia Ν8, and decided to implement the innovative idea of Wunderman Athens advertising company. A Facebook contest with a winning prize  a Nokia N8 cell phone. The development of the contest application was assigned in intros.gr.

The main idea was a mystery game, for those who participated in the contest. The game was diveded in 8 episodes.  Intros.grdeveloped a flash minisite, based on the script and plot of the game. Users had to be connected to Facebook, they had to accept the terms and conditions of the contest, and finally they had to invite their friends to play.  Then, they had to watch very carefully, each one of the episodes. By the end of each episode, the users had to answer some questions based on the complited episode. The right anwers leaded the user to the next episode, and so on.  Everyone, who reached episode 8 and answered the questions correctly, was potential winner of the cell phone Nokia N8.

In 2011, Wunderman Athens advetising company, came out with an idea for the promotion of Nokia cell phones in Slovenia.  

The idea was about to be implemented through Nokia fan page in Facebook. The application desing and development of the Facebook application was assigned and implemented by intros.gr.

In the application, the image of the cell phone appears and the users had to write their "wisdom of the day" as if they were typing in their own cell phone, and by pressing "send" button they shared the message with their friends.

Everybody participating in this campaing, was receiving a automated messege thanking them for the participation. This message had to be posted and shared in order to give the opportunity of winning the cell phone to the user.  

The same advertising campaign was implemented in Croatia, due to its acceptance and effectiveness. 

 

Europa Aluminum Systems embraced social media with its first campaign in Greece. In order to maximize the spread of this action (Fully replacement of houses doors frames), they turned to Facebook and created an engaging and interactive campaign. The design and development of the application of this Facebook contest, was undertaken by intros.gr.


The idea is based on the traditional "form to complete action" where users enter their information and get in to the competition draw. 

We were obviously aware that people need more than just blind-chance to enter a competition. We came up with a simple concept to get people involved and most importantly for the client the spur to hand over personal details, we asked them to invite their friend to participate as well, in order for them to raise their chance of winning.  Many of users details were automatically available to us when they were logged into Facebook, giving us the opportunity to complete even easier the database fields that we needed. We gave them, the opportunity to visit the company's website, in order to seek information for the products involved. Finally, users had their action published to their news feeds so their friends could see.

 

Harnessing the power of Facebook we made it easy for people to get involved. This Facebook application helped us spread the message virally.
